Every 30 minutes between 7am and 5pm, Monday through Friday, check my Workiz dispatch board for jobs that are falling through the cracks, and alert my dispatch channel in Slack when there are any.

First, use the Workiz List Jobs operation to pull every job scheduled for today in my account's local time. The job list is paginated, so page through it until you have the whole day rather than just the first page. Then use the Workiz List Team Members operation to pull the technician roster, so you can resolve each job's assigned user to a real person's name and tell a genuinely unassigned job apart from one assigned to someone you have not looked up yet.

From that set, keep only the jobs that represent a real gap: any job on today's board with no technician assigned, and any job that is still sitting in an unscheduled status. Every other job is covered and should be ignored.

For each gap, work out how long it has been sitting unassigned by comparing the current time to the job's creation timestamp in Workiz, and express it in plain terms such as 45 minutes or 3 hours.

Sort the gaps by soonest scheduled start time so the most urgent one is at the top, then post a single Slack message to my dispatch channel using the Send a Message operation. List each job on its own line with the customer name, the job type, the scheduled start time, the service area, and how long it has been sitting unassigned. Keep it scannable, so a dispatcher reading it on a phone knows immediately which job to fix first.

If every job on the board is covered, post nothing at all. Do not send an all clear or a nothing to report message. The channel stays quiet on good days, so an alert always means something real needs attention.
