Every weekday at 8:00am, put together a shipping standup digest for our operations team and post it to our shipping channel in Slack. The goal is a scannable morning roll-up that leads with the packages that need chasing, so the team knows what to act on first.

Start by pulling our recent shipping activity from EasyPost. Use List Trackers to get the current tracking status of packages in flight, and use List Shipments to pull the recent shipments they belong to. Cover roughly the last week or two of activity so nothing recent falls off the report.

Group everything by delivery status: in transit, out for delivery, delivered, and exception. Keep a running count for each group so the digest can show how many packages sit in each bucket.

Then decide what looks stuck and needs attention. Flag any package that has not had a new tracking scan in several days (roughly three or more days without movement), anything already past its expected or estimated delivery date but not yet delivered, and anything in an exception state such as a failed delivery, a return to sender, an address issue, or a customs hold. Treat these as the at-risk list.

Post one tidy digest to our shipping Slack channel using Slack Bot's Send a Message. Lead with the at-risk packages at the very top of the message so they are the first thing the team sees. For each one, include the tracking number or reference, the carrier, its current status, how long it has been stuck, and why it was flagged. Below that, show the counts per status (in transit, out for delivery, delivered, exception). Finish with a short list of anything delivered since yesterday so the team can close those out.

Keep it scannable. Use Slack formatting with clear headings and short bullet lines rather than long paragraphs, and keep the at-risk section tight and skimmable. If nothing is at risk, say so clearly at the top so the team can move on quickly.
