On the first business day of every month at 8am, build me a client ready social media performance report covering the month that just ended, so I stop losing half a day assembling one by hand.

Start by resolving where my profiles live. Use Agorapulse Get Manager Organizations to find my organization, then Get Organization Workspaces to find the workspace, then Get Workspace Profiles to enumerate every connected social profile. Treat that profile list as the spine of the report, so every connected profile gets covered.

Before pulling any data, compute two explicit date windows as plain calendar dates: the month that just ended, and the calendar month before it. The Agorapulse report operations require since and until query parameters and will not infer a sensible default window, so always pass both explicitly rather than relying on a default. The prior month window is what makes this report worth reading, because it gives real direction of travel instead of a standalone snapshot.

For each profile, pull Get Audience Report, Get Content Report and Get Community Management Report for the completed month, then pull the same three reports again for the prior month. Compare every figure across the two windows and record both the absolute change and the percentage change. These report operations are not paginated and return complete result sets, so a single call per profile per window is enough. Agorapulse allows 500 requests per 30 minutes, so if the workspace has many profiles, pace the calls and work through the list steadily rather than firing everything at once.

Write the findings into a new document. Use Google Docs Create Document to create the document with a title naming the client and the reporting month, then use Batch Update Document to write the full report body into it, since Create Document only produces an empty document.

Structure the document as follows: a short executive summary of how the month went overall; a per network breakdown with one section per connected profile, covering audience growth, engagement and top performing posts; a note on how responsive the team was to incoming messages, drawn from the community management data; and three specific recommendations for next month.

The report should read like an analyst wrote it. Explain why numbers moved rather than just listing them, connecting changes to what actually got published that month, such as posting volume, format mix, or a single post that clearly outperformed the rest. Call out any metric that dropped, in plain language, in the executive summary rather than burying it in a later section. If a number fell and the data does not explain why, say that explicitly instead of inventing a reason. Where a profile has no prior month to compare against, state that rather than reporting a misleading change figure.

Finally, use Slack Send a Message to post to the account team channel with the link to the Google Doc and the three headline numbers, so the team gets the gist without opening the document. If any of those headline numbers moved down, the Slack message should say so directly.
