Build me an app for reviewing what our Hightouch activation actually costs. We are billed on monthly tracked rows plus destination count, and nobody knows which syncs are eating the budget until the invoice arrives. This app should make that visible continuously and let me act on it.

The main view is a ranked table of every sync for a selected period. One row per sync, sorted by rows synced descending, with columns for the sync name, the destination it writes to, total rows synced, number of runs, average rows per run, and the share of total row volume that sync represents. Above the table, show a running total of rows for the period against a monthly row budget I set and store in the app, with how much of the budget is consumed. Let me switch the period between this month, last month, and the trailing ninety days, and recompute everything when I do.

Build the table from Hightouch. Use List Syncs to enumerate the workspace, List Sync Runs per sync for the run history and row counts in the period, and List Destinations to resolve each sync's destination to a readable name and type. Count only successful runs toward row totals so failed runs and their retries do not inflate the picture, but still show the run count so I can tell a chatty sync from a heavy one. Handle pagination on the list endpoints so a large workspace is fully covered.

A second view pivots the same data by destination instead of by sync: rows per destination, how many syncs write to it, and its share of total volume. This is the fan-out view, and it matters because the same customer record synced to five destinations counts five times toward tracked rows. Where the same underlying model or audience feeds several destinations, group those together so the duplication is obvious at a glance.

Clicking a sync in either view opens a detail panel with its run history: rows per run plotted over time, plus the run list with timestamps, status, and row counts. Show the sync's current schedule from Get Sync alongside the chart. This is where I spot the sync scheduled every fifteen minutes that moves nearly identical rows every time, so make a flat or barely changing line easy to read.

Every row in the review table carries a decision I set, and it has to persist across sessions and across monthly reviews: keep, reduce cadence, or pause. Store it in the app with a free text note and who set it, along with when. When I open next month's review, last month's decision and note are still attached to each sync so the review picks up where the last one left off rather than starting from scratch. Let me filter the table by decision so I can see everything still marked undecided.

From the detail panel I want to act on a decision without leaving the app. Use Update Sync to change a sync's schedule to a less frequent cadence or to disable it outright, and Trigger Sync Run to re-run a sync after I have changed its cadence. Confirm before anything that writes, and record what was changed and by whom next to the decision so the audit trail is in one place.

Add a "Build a savings plan" button that runs a background agent across the whole workspace. The agent walks the run history of every sync using List Syncs, Get Sync, List Sync Runs and List Destinations, then looks for three things: high volume syncs whose row counts barely change between runs, destination fan-out where the same audience is duplicated across several destinations, and syncs running far more often than their underlying data actually changes. It writes a ranked plan back into the app, one entry per sync, with the reason it was flagged, an estimated monthly row saving, and a recommended new cadence. Show the plan in its own view where each recommendation can be accepted into the matching sync's decision, and make it clear the agent only recommends and never changes a sync on its own.

Finally, let me export the finished review to a Google Sheet using Append Values, so finance and the data lead have the numbers outside the tool. Append one row per sync with the period, sync name, destination, rows synced, runs, average rows per run, share of volume, the decision, the note, and who decided, so each monthly export stacks up as a history in the same sheet.
