Every Monday at 8am, review how our Outreach sequences performed over the past week and tell me which ones to fix. Start by using Outreach List Sequences to pull the sequences that are currently active, then call Get Sequence on each one to read its engagement metrics. The metrics come back on the sequence record itself, so there is no separate reporting call to make.

Rank the sequences by reply rate first, then open rate, then click rate. Alongside the rates, keep track of how many prospects each sequence has been delivered to, because volume is what separates a small experiment from a real problem.

Apply these rules when deciding what to flag. Any cold prospecting sequence sitting under a 12 percent reply rate needs attention, since 12 percent is Outreach's own recommended baseline for cold prospecting. Identify cold prospecting sequences from their name and tags, and do not hold nurture, follow up, or inbound sequences to that same bar. Treat high volume sequences with near zero replies as the most urgent problem in the report, ahead of everything else, because those are burning the most sending reputation for the least return. Also call out the single best performing sequence, the one worth cloning as a template for the others.

Post the summary to Slack with the slackbot Send a Message operation, to a channel I will specify. Keep the message to the top five things worth acting on rather than dumping every sequence in the org. Each flagged sequence gets one concrete recommendation, not a generic note: name the specific thing to change, such as rewriting the first touch subject line, cutting the number of steps, tightening the audience filter, or pausing the sequence outright. Lead with the most urgent item.

Separately, append one row per sequence per week to a Google Sheet with the Append Values operation, so we build a trend line instead of only ever seeing a snapshot. Each row should carry the week ending date, the sequence name, whether it is active, the number of prospects delivered to, and the open, click, and reply rates. Write every sequence to the sheet, including the ones that did not make the top five in Slack.
