Every weekday at 8am, find the posts published on our WordPress site in the last 24 hours and turn each one into a ready-to-post social image pack. Use List Posts in WordPress, filtered to published posts inside that window. If nothing was published, stop without posting anything to Slack.

For each new post, read the title and the excerpt, then write one short hook line of about six words. This hook is the text that gets rendered as typography inside the image, so make it punchy and legible rather than a full sentence. Remember that WordPress returns title and excerpt as rendered HTML, so strip any markup before using them.

Generate the master image with Generate (Ideogram 4.0). Set the hook line as the in-image text and draw the visual concept from what the post is actually about. The master must be square, so request a 1:1 aspect ratio. Resolution and aspect ratio are mutually exclusive on generate, so set only one of the two, never both.

Then run Reframe (Ideogram 3.0) twice against that square master: once to a 16:9 landscape crop for LinkedIn and X, and once to a 9:16 vertical crop for Stories and Reels. Reframe only accepts a square input image, which is exactly why the master has to be generated at 1:1 before any reframing happens. Always reframe from the original square master, never from an already reframed crop.

Ideogram image URLs expire a short time after generation, so download the image bytes for all three sizes as soon as they are produced. Send the downloaded files to Slack as uploads. Do not paste Ideogram links into the message, because they will be dead by the time anyone clicks them.

Post all three images into our #marketing Slack channel using Upload a File on Slack Bot. Include the post title, a link to the post, and a suggested caption written for each format: one for the square, one for the landscape version, and one for the vertical version. Keep each post's three images together in the channel so the team can tell at a glance which pack belongs to which article.

Delivery stops at Slack. Do not attempt to upload the artwork back to WordPress or set it as the post's featured image.
