Every 30 minutes, run an agent that turns new comments on my LinkedIn lead magnet post into personalized outreach, using Unipile for LinkedIn and Airtable for the dedup log. The trigger is a cron on a 30 minute schedule.

Inputs I will configure at the top of the prompt: the LinkedIn post id to monitor, the trigger phrase I asked people to comment (for example, "comment GUIDE to get the playbook"), a small list of natural variations that should also count (like "guide", "yes please", "send it", "info"), the lead magnet link, my ideal customer profile in one or two sentences, the Airtable base id and table name for the outreach log, and a per run cap on new connection invites (default 15, to respect LinkedIn's daily invite ceiling).

On each run the agent should do the following. First, use Unipile's List Post Comments to pull the current commenters on the configured post. Second, use Airtable's List Records to load the existing dedup log so we know who we have already contacted. Third, filter to commenters whose comment text matches the trigger intent (the exact phrase or any of the configured variations, case insensitive, some tolerance for punctuation and emojis) and who are not already present in the Airtable log.

For each remaining new commenter, use Unipile's Retrieve User Profile to grab a couple of context signals like their headline and current company. Use those signals plus the configured ideal customer description to decide if they are a plausible fit. If they clearly do not match the ICP, skip them and do not log anything so we can revisit later if the criteria change.

For each qualified new commenter, decide the outreach path based on their connection degree to me. If they are a first degree connection, use Unipile's Start New Chat to send a short personalized DM that references their role or company in one line, thanks them for commenting, and shares the lead magnet link. If they are not a first degree connection, use Unipile's Send Invitation with a two line personalized note that mentions the post they commented on and teases the resource without dropping the link (LinkedIn strips links from invite notes). Cap new invitations at the configured per run limit (default 15). DMs to existing connections do not count toward that cap.

After each successful DM or invite, use Airtable's Create Records to append a row to the outreach log with the commenter's name, their LinkedIn provider id, the comment text that triggered them, the action taken ("dm_sent" or "invite_sent"), and a timestamp. Batch up to 10 rows per Create Records call. If sending a DM or invite fails for any single commenter, catch the error, skip that person, and continue with the rest so one bad record does not halt the run.

Guardrails to bake in. Never message or invite anyone who is already present in the Airtable log, even if they leave a second comment. Never exceed the configured per run invite cap. Never send a DM without personalizing it with something specific from the profile (their headline or current company). Do not comment back on the post itself, all outreach happens through DMs or invites. At the end of the run, produce a short summary: how many new commenters were found, how many were skipped as ICP mismatches, how many DMs were sent, how many invites were sent, and how many were skipped because the invite cap was hit.
