Every Monday at 8am, build a short outreach performance brief for my recruitment team from SourceWhale, post it to Slack, and log the week's numbers to a Google Sheets tracker.

Start by pulling my SourceWhale outreach numbers with Get Dashboard Statistics twice: once for the last 7 days, and once for the 7 days before that, so I have two comparable periods. Then use List Campaigns to pull every outreach campaign along with its usage and response metrics.

SourceWhale publishes no response schemas for these calls, so read whatever metric fields actually come back rather than assuming fixed field names or paths. Work with the fields you find for messages sent, replies, reply rate, and meetings booked, and derive a rate yourself if only raw counts are returned. If a metric is genuinely missing, say so in the brief instead of guessing or reporting it as zero.

Compare the two periods and work out what actually changed: total messages sent, overall reply rate, and meetings booked, each with the direction and size of the move. Rank the campaigns so I can see which ones are winning. Then flag any active campaign whose reply rate fell week over week, or whose reply rate sits below my threshold of 5 percent. Make that threshold easy for me to change.

For each flagged campaign, give one plain-language reason it is likely struggling, grounded in what the numbers actually show, and one concrete suggested fix such as rewriting the opening touch, shortening the sequence, tightening the target list, or pausing it. No vague advice: one specific action per campaign.

Post the brief to my Slack channel with Send a Message. Lead with the three campaigns that need attention this week, then the headline week over week numbers, then the top performers. Keep it short enough to read on a phone: short lines, no long paragraphs, no tables. Never list more than five campaigns in the Slack post, even if more qualify. If more than five are flagged, add a single line saying how many others also missed the bar.

Finally, append one row per week to my Google Sheets tracker using Append Values, logging the week ending date, messages sent, reply rate, and meetings booked. Always append rather than overwrite, so the team builds a running trend line rather than a set of isolated snapshots.
