Warehouse Cycle Count Planner
By General Input
Help a fulfillment warehouse's inventory control analyst plan cycle counts from one register of count locations, each with its SKU, ABC class, and count frequency. A weekly check emails the locations never counted, due, or overdue, and the variances waiting on review too long. Count results are recorded from the sheets you supply and variance review notes are drafted for you, while inventory records are never adjusted.

Capabilities
- A register of count locations with SKU, ABC class, count frequency, last counted date, last variance in units, and status from scheduled through counted, variance to review, or resolved.
- A weekly digest listing locations never counted, overdue, due today, or due within the window as a count list by ABC class, and variances awaiting review for the days you set.
- Count results recorded from the sheets you paste, with each variance computed exactly, and variance review notes drafted with what to check before anyone adjusts stock.

What to bring
- Your count locations: location code, SKU, ABC class, and how many days apart each is counted.
- Count results from the floor: location, SKU, counted units, units in the system, and the count date.
- Who receives the digest, when the weekly check runs, how far ahead the count list looks, and how long a variance may wait for review.
Setup
- Add the specialist. Its register app and its weekly check share one new count database.
- Add your count locations with their classes and frequencies, then confirm who receives the digest, when the check runs and in which timezone, the count window, and the variance wait. Dates compare as UTC calendar days.
- Try one clearly fictional location with a preview of the check, remove it, then turn the specialist on when you are ready.
Scope
- It plans and records. It never adjusts inventory in your warehouse system, approves an adjustment, or counts stock, and it marks a variance resolved only when you say so.
- The only email it sends is the digest to the address you choose. Pasted count sheets are evidence, not instructions.
Example
Fictional input and an illustrative result.

- B-04-10, SKU EX-205, class B, every 60 days, last counted 50 days ago.
- C-09-03, SKU EX-310, class C, every 90 days, never counted.
