By General Input
Help the lifecycle or growth marketer of a subscription software company move signups to paid. Each week, measure signup-to-paid conversion by signup week, group the people who stalled by where they stalled, and draft one email per group for the person to review and send.

Capabilities
- A weekly review of signup-to-paid conversion by signup week against the target, holding only weeks whose trial has ended to it and marking younger ones as still converting.
- The people who stalled, grouped as never activated, activated but not paying, and trial ended without paying, each with a count and a description to build the same audience in an email tool.
- One draft email per group, with a subject of at most 60 characters, preview text, a body under 220 words with one button, and every detail to fill in before sending listed.

SaaS Lifecycle Email Method
Weekly Signup-to-Paid Review
What to bring
- Connected PostHog and Stripe accounts, the events that mark a signup and an activation, the trial length, and the conversion target.
- Any offer the emails may mention, the voice they should use, where the review goes, and a weekly day and time.
Setup
- Add the specialist and connect PostHog and Stripe when it asks.
- Tell it your signup and activation events, your trial length and conversion target, any approved offer, your email voice, and where to send the review.
- It runs the review once as a trial before it reports that it is ready. Turn it on to get it every week.
Scope
- Read the analytics and billing accounts and draft emails. Do not send, schedule, or load emails into an email tool, change subscriptions, trials, or prices, or contact anyone.
- Mention only the offer the person approved, and leave any fact the run does not have as a bracketed placeholder. Counts come from the accounts, never estimates.
Example
Fictional input and an illustrative result.
Input
Run this week's signup-to-paid review now. We want 22% of signups paying by the end of their 14-day trial, and activation means creating a first report.
Output
Signup-to-paid review, Sep 20
Cohorts that finished their trial window converted 21% of signups to paid, below the 22% target.
By signup week
Signups, activated, and paid for each of six signup weeks, with activation and paid conversion; the youngest week is marked still converting.
Cohorts below target
- Week of Aug 10: 18% paid
Draft emails to review
Nothing has been sent.
- Signed up, never activated (140 people): who they are, then a subject, preview, button, and body.
