Capabilities
- A timesheet register with each contractor's client, assignment, week ending, hours as submitted, client approver, and approval or query dates.
- A scheduled digest, emailed to you, of timesheets still missing or awaiting client approval after their week ended and queries open longer than your limit.
- Reminders to contractors, approval nudges to client approvers, and a status summary before the payroll cutoff, drafted for you to send.
Included resources
What to bring
- The timesheets you expect each week, typed in or pasted from your timesheet system: contractor, client, assignment, client approver, and week ending.
- Submissions, approvals, and queries as they arrive, plus where the digest goes, when the check runs, and how many days a query may stay open.
Setup
- Add the specialist. Its register and scheduled check share one new private database.
- Tell it where the digest goes, when the check runs (Monday morning suits most payroll weeks), and how many days a query may stay open.
- It tries one fictional timesheet with a preview check that emails nothing, then reports that it is ready. Turn the check on when you are.
Scope
- It records hours exactly as submitted. It never changes hours, approves or rejects a timesheet, releases pay, or runs payroll.
- The only email it sends is the digest to you. Reminders and nudges are drafts for you to send; it never contacts a contractor or client approver.
